Use Articles to Market Your Niche in the Real Estate Industry

Many agents in the real estate industry specialize in one area or another. They spend years establishing themselves as an expert in their niche.

Writing articles pertaining to your niche and posting them on your website, submitting them to article directories, and allowing others to post them on their websites as well, not only helps to boost your level of expertise but drives traffic to your website.

If you choose to write niche specific articles yourself, use the following 5 steps to get you started.

1. Define Your Target Audience: Who are the people that can benefit the most from your expert services? What do they need? What kind of information will benefit them?

2. Keyword Search: Use the internet to find out what people in your target audience are asking about. Use a keyword tool such as KeywordSpy for help.

3. Choose Your Topics: Choose topics that will answer the questions listed above. Your topics should always fit into your niche. Use your keywords to help you choose topics.

4. Research: Conduct research on the topics you have chosen. Always use up to date and factual information.

5. Write: When you write your articles, always answer the questions your target audience will have about your topics. Include keywords in your articles. Keyword density is typically from 2 - 5% depending on the length of your article.

Articles can be anywhere from 300 - 700 words long. An article that is too short won’t contain enough information and an article that is too long will lose the attention of your audience.

Always include a link to your website in your byline when submitting articles to an article directory or allowing others to post them on their sites. After posting your articles to your website, remember to add social media sharing tools to every article.

Social media is booming and every time someone shares your article they are creating a link to your website and giving you more exposure. What other tips should someone trying to establish themselves as an expert in their niche use when it comes to article writing?
